“In conversation with” guests. 31st August – 4th September

1835
"Conversation should be pleasant without scurrility, witty without affection, free without indecency, learned without conceitedness, novel without falsehood". William Shakespeare

The facility opened to the public on 01/09 and Renee and I chatted about what returning visitors can expect to see.

When I did this episode, Kate and the property were still in lockdown, but all that has changed and the Walkersons is once again taking bookings.

Gilda shares her story with me. From tour guide to selling firewood and back to tour guide again.

Aside from his move to Johannesburg just before lockdown, when Angus and I chatted, he, like me, was a non-travelling travel writer.

Roland and I swap tales about his time in the comedy and radio industries. A very funny young man, with a great outlook on life and all that it has thrown at him. Good, bad and indifferent. It was a great chat and I do hope that there will be a second episode.
