There is an Afrikaans adage that goes “Hy skrik vir niks” Meaning he is not afraid of anything. As in the case of this Egyptian Goose that decided to chase off the African Spoonbill. A Blue Waxbill enjoying a cooling water bath in a small pond at a bush lodge.
Glossy Starlings take ownership of the edge of a swimming pool at a lodge.
Late night at a waterhole. This herd of elephants came out of the darkness to enjoy a drink after the sun had set.
And staying with the water theme…What better than an African sunset over a dam.
