For those who are wondering...Theis elephant is not wearing jewellery, he has been collared in order to keep track of his movements. This was one of two such bulls that I found while on my road trip.

I HAVE RETURNED…FROM THE FREEZING                                 LOWVELD!

With memory cards filled with images and stories to share about my time at the camps I visited.

BTW. The image above is of Jack Nicholson from the ending of The Shining(for illustrative purposes only) and not of me returning from a game drive.

Publishing will resume on Monday 22nd July with an article on this property I recently stayed at while visiting Howick. It was my first time at an AirB&B and an enjoyable experience.

Individual Blog posts on my experiences at these properties will be published over the next several weeks.

There have been soft changes at all the Sun Destinations camps I visited, but first-time visitors might not be aware of these.

Returning guests will find their safari/lodge experiences have been enhanced by the renovations.

Well done to Sun Destinations and the camps for the improvements and your ongoing passion which is evident in the product you offer to your guests.

I also revisited this guest house in Lydenburg that I enjoy visiting so much I keep returning there despite the atrocious state of the roads from Belfast to Dullestroom and especially from Dullestroom to Lydenburg.

But the hospitality, accommodation and the food are well worth the drive.
