"I never want Travel & Things to be seen as static. Much like travel, it is constantly on the move. Morphing and changing when least expected. 2020 has been an extraordinary year for so many reasons and the changes that will be put in place will set the Blog up as it heads towards 2021 and whatever the new year holds in store"-David Batzofin

3rd David Fleminger…author: 5th Comedian Riaad Moosa: 10th Megan Parker, who as Megan Emmett wrote a number of iconic nature books: 12th Jan Badenhorst, with a new way to do road trips: 17th PR Guru, Tilly Smith Dix, who continues to ‘work’ with South African clients although she now lives in Australia: 19th Gerald Garner, founder of Thunder Walkers who conducts Johannesburg inner city tours: 24th Helen Atkison, extraordinary wildlife photographer: 26th Germain Matroos, one of the funniest comedians I have seen in a long while.

The Saturday morning photographic masterclasses in November will be conducted by marine photographer Don Hunter.

BUT THAT IS NOT ALL…

This is the current image size on Travel & Things. This will be slowly be phased out and replaced with a larger format, thanks to the team at JHNet Web Development.

I am hoping that the larger size will add a bit of WOW to each posting as we approach the end of the year. I ended off 2019 with a sighting that I had waited for 53 years! A Pangolin!

And it seems that I will end off 2020 with another long-awaited bucket list sighting, an Aardvark.

BUT THAT IS NOT ALL…GROW A MO FOR A BRO. November is Men’s Health Month and it is utilized to raise awareness of a variety of male health issues, such as prostate and testicular cancer as well as men’s suicide. This was my attempt back in 2016…
