Under the sea Under the sea Darling it's better Down where it's wetter Take it from me Up on the shore they work all day Out in the sun they slave away While we devotin' Full time to floatin' Under the sea. "Under the sea". The Little Mermaid

For those who did not check the date today, April Fool! I hope that this gave you a smile at least.

Copper Helmet Dive Course. In keeping with the current social-distancing FGASA has instituted this new syllabus in order to comply with the current Government lockdown regulations.

In light of the Covid-19 Virus and the need for self-isolation, FGASA will be offering this Copper-helmet dive course. Seeing that each student is not only separate from but isolated as well, it is the ideal course to enrol in currently. The course will be run at a purpose-built training facility that can be transported to the student’s home where they can undergo training in the knowledge that they will not be exposed to the virus at any time. Should the student live in an apartment block, the facility can be set up in the nearest deserted shopping centre car park.

In keeping with the current FGASA policies, there will be two levels available, Mermaid Level 1 and Aquaman SKS.

To qualify for Mermaid Level 1, participants will have to spend time with a multitude of fish while feeding them by hand with food prepared by the participant before the assessments. You will have to complete this Level 1 course before moving on to SKS.

The Aquaman SKS course will see qualified students diving with predators, like sharks and insurance salesmen. Assessments will be completed and marked before midday on April 1st.

Those who fail to pass either course will be offered the opportunity to return on April 1st, 2021 to re-do the areas that they were unsuccessful in. All our instructors have tested negative for any strain of any virus and are ready willing and able to help you add another skill that will prove invaluable when out on a game drive and a downpour occurs.

Please note that this course will run from midnight to midday on 01 April 2020 and the cost of this exciting course? Only 18 rolls of toilet paper!
