With the 2019 Safari Guide of the Year
less than a week away, this is a look back at the winners from past years.
There was no event in 2017, lest you are thinking that someone has been left out.
The area of the Marakele National Park is the backdrop for Safari Guide of the Year 2019, 
and it is truly spectacular!
This new location is going to bring many challenges to the Finalists.
The magnificent Waterberg mountains stretch across the vast horizon. 
An overabundance of iron ore gives rise to the various shades of red they display. 
As a result of these intense colours, sunrises and sunsets here will never be forgotten.

                            Craggy cliffs dominate the skyline and hidden freshwater pools
                              are a welcome distraction even in the cold winter conditions
