A welcoming drink is always…
welcome!
We decided to eat in our Villa on the first night.
Even though it was raining, the staff brought one course at a time.
In this way the food was served piping hot.
We both enjoyed a Fried Calamari starter.
For her mains, my wife chose
the Pan Fried Roulade of Salmon and Gremolata
I did enjoy my grilled Kudu steak with pommes dauphine
The deserts were;
Tian of Pineapple, Kiwi & Watermelon with coconut sorbet
Irish Apple tart, cinnamon ice cream,
with whisky whipped cream & citrus savoury sugar
While I had a regular English breakfast,
my wife decided to try this…
Fried Haloumi cheese with tomato and avo
on fresh home baked health bread
Our second dinner, we decided to be “adult”
and ate in the main dining room.
For starters, my wife chose
Braised Spiced Duck leg, rocket & apple salad
with a honey & whole grain mustard dressing
I decided to try the Cauliflower & toasted cumin soup with herb oil
Our mains…
Seared Yellow fin Tuna with glass noodles
Grilled Blesbok fillet & Bordelaise sauce.
The triple cooked thick cut chips were delicious!
Chilled vanilla & coconut rice pudding…
Seasonal fruit & orange nut cream trifle.
On the final morning, the sun broke through the clouds
and we were able to eat on the deck outside the main building.

Scrambled eggs, smoked salmon, capers
on a slice of home baked bread.

We had our final lunch at the Spa…
While my wife chose a relatively “plain” salad,
I was a little more adventurous…
This is a Rare roast beef fillet, beetroot & lentil salad.
The food at this venue is some of the best we have eaten,
but don’t take my word for it…
Come and try the food for yourself.
