Food at Prana Lodge. Part 2

1735

We were lazy and once again asked for room service at dinner time.
Parmesan toast round topped with sauteed exotic mushrooms.

Cream of artichoke soup with hints of cauliflower.

Prime fillet splashed with a red wine reduction sauce

Pan grilled duck breast drizzled with a bitter citrus jus.

Decadent lemon polenta cake served with a vanilla bean creme anglaise.

And it was time for breakfast…

My wife decided to have the proverbial
“Full English”

While I tried the fluffy three egg omelette.

Something cool to drink to keep hydrated in the hot weather

A “light” lunch…
An organic Prana Garden salad.

Homemade bruschetta topped with crumbed chicken breast,
drizzled in a tangy homemade mayonnaise.

Tea time…
And a most delicious carrot cake was on offer.

We decided to be adults for our final dinner,
so we got dressed and ate in the dining room

Bubbles?
No…sparkling water actually

What a meal this was…
Crispy tempura aubergine topped with tomato,
parmesan and olive oil salsa.

A most delicious roasted red pepper and tomato soup.
With hints of honey and coconut milk

Pan fried fish fillets topped with a parmesan crust.

And probably the BEST veal brisket I have EVER eaten!
Slow roasted for six hours in a rich tomato and red wine jus

My dessert…sans chocolate.

And my wife’s…
with chocolate.
A final breakfast before we headed back to East London airport.

French toast…again.
But this time with haloumi cheese, basil pesto and fresh tomato.
