I have visited both the Hagia Sofia and the Blue Mosque in Istanbul,
but for sheer splendour and size, this wins hands down.

This is my second visit to this wonderful property
just outside of East London.
This time, my wife was with me…
and we will be back next year to renew our wedding vows.
For a romantic getaway, this property is IDEAL!

They have properties in several cities
and their staff is exceptional.

Historically, East London is a very important city.
Visually it is tired and in need of a major overhaul.
Currently, it does not rate highly as a local tourist destination.
Something that should be addressed as it has a lot to offer.

After a break of 10 years, my wife and I revisited
Valley Lodge & Spa in Magaliesberg.
We were more than pleasantly surprised by the changes that have taken place.

Bellgables Country Restaurant might well be one
of Johannesburg’s best kept secrets.
The food and ambiance are superb.

I was lucky enough to get to visit Madikwe Safari Lodge for a second time.
There have been some changes made, all for the better.

I was privilaged to spent time at the new Park Hyatt Zanzibar.
This island has so much to offer.
The only downside for South Africans is that curretly only one airline
flies there directly.

I described Dubai as a mixture of “Gotham” and the set of “Blade Runner”
That being said, I visited during Ramadan has was found it to be a wonderful
destination, rather than just an airport to transit though.
