I have to admit that I had NOT heard of the Premier Group
prior to this trip.
But what I discovered has impressed me enormously!
Even though the sea is visible from the entrance to the hotel,
the calming sound of running water is always a welcome note
on arrival at a destination
The impressive entrance…
First impressions are important.
THIS is the view that greets visitors when they step though the front door
We stayed in this part of the hotel.
Fourth floor…with a sea view!
The reception area.
We were greeted by very friendly staff and
even though we were VERY early we were accommodated with minimal fuss.
Coffee to go.
A great idea for departing guests who need a cuppa
before the dining room opens
There is a seating area to the right of reception…
A good place to meet colleagues or friends
Another view of the lobby…
The decor in all the corridors is understated and functional.
That being said, there are art works on the walls
as well a free standing sculptures on every floor.
A mini art gallery.
A pity that none were for sale.
The corridor on our floor.
We used the stairs a LOT.
We actually preferred to walk rather than use the elevator.
WHY?
Because of the FOOD on offer!
“Our” corner of the dining room.
An a-la-carte menu is available to guests,
however we chose to eat from the buffet.
Great choices at every meal.
The hotel serves as accommodation for delegates that attend conferences
at the EL ICC.
I discovered THIS in the ICC.
It could either be the failed prototype of a surfboard.
Or it could be a massage table…
or it could just be a piece of wood,
left here to make people think that is actually an art work.
Our suite…
The lounge.
The suite has a wrap-around balcony that was accessible
from both the lounge and the bedroom.
Given the prevailing wind while we were there,
we did not get to use it as much as we would have liked to.
A view from the opposite corner.
There is a small “kitchen” area in the far corner.
Not designed to prepare meals, it does have a small fridge
and a coffee and tea station.
A huge bedroom…
It has to be, given the size of the bed.
The en-suite bathroom had two basins, a bath, shower and toilet.
The suite also boasted a second separate toilet…
a very welcome addition.
If you are looking to stay for business or pleasure,
I recommend that you give this group a try.

Considering that it was early in the morning,
Ayanda was most helpful and friendly…
Highly recommended!
