To get to Amanzi you have to leave the N1,
take R708 to Theunissen and then follow the R30 to Brandfort.
Just ouside Brandfort you take a right
and follow 12km of gravel road to the entrance

The two giraffe are almost forming a heart for Valentines day.
The look on this Lechwe’s face is (almost) priceless.
A nod and a wink…
Not to be outdone by the horns on the Lechwe,
this male Waterbuck watches as I drive past.

I did not have to look for the bird life…
it came to me.
Not everything with wings was a bird.
Time for take off…

Although this Caracal looks FEROCIOUS
it is, in fact, an overgrown pussy cat.
How do I know this…
I was able to enter her enclosure before I left
and spent some time interacting with her.
