Once again I headed off down the N1,
only this time I took a left and a right turn onto the R30 towards Brandfort
I was to join a team filming a program on giraffe for National Geographic
I wonder if this giraffe was using this branch as a toothbrush?

There is also a small shop here that sells essentials and souvenirs

Had I know about this, I would have brought my running shoes

or guests can eat in the restaurant at the main building

I do like windmills.
They seem to be the iconic landmark of the Free State landscape
Something I did NOT expect to find here.
A female Lechwe amongst a flock of Cattle Egrets.
I found this male Lechwe not too far away.
The last time I saw this antelope was in Botswana about 20 years ago
A couple of young male Waterbuck
A White Blesbok (on the left) running together with a Springbok
and a regular Blesbok.
I have never seen the white variant before
