Decadence in Linden. Sugar rush at the Argentinean Bakery

1780
*UPDATE*
Although the “silly season” has passed, all these delicious pastries are currently available.
What with a trip to Europe followed by several to Cape Town,
it has been a few weeks since I have been to my “corner-office-with-a-view”.

As the “Silly Season” creeps up on us,
you might be looking for sweet “stuff” for the office party.
If you don’t feel like sweating over a hot stove, pop in here
and select your sugar rush of choice.
Some really great coconut ice could be on your shopping list
Peppermint Crisp and caramel being put to good use!
YUM…lemon tart…and a coffee?
Chocolate Brownies.
A MUST at any party
Or a scrumptious Custard Danish, or two
This is where it gets confusing…
Gingerbread men…tick
Gingerbread women…tick
But Gingerbread rabbits? It is not Easter yet.
If you don’t want to be gender specific,
try one of the HUMONGOUS Choc-chip cookies
HOWEVER…if you did indulge over the “festive season”,
there are healthy options available!
And, if like me, you enjoy cheese and tomato,
ask for the Mozzarella option… on a health roll.

Ask about the daily specials.
The current special has added chips, and still at R39.00!
Great value.
You can eat in or take home to enjoy in the privacy of your own home.
Or take to friends and family for tea…
AND they do the BEST croissants west of Jan Smuts avenue?
A variety of meals are available
from early morning to late afternoon.
Or just relax with a coffee and watch the passing parade.
The shop offers FREE Wi-Fi connectivity.
Trying to get access to one of the limited socket outlets was a problem.
This has now been resolved with the installation of several more.
Well done Pierre!
They can be found on the corner of 4th Ave and 7th Street, Linden
