This year marks the 10th anniversary of my Dad’s death.
This posting is dedicated to his memory.
Written in 1984, Leonard Cohen’s song is as relevant today as it was then.
My song of the year…”Hallelujah”
As I bid goodbye to the year,
these are some of the highlights…

The year started with Jayne being nominated for two Fiestas for a production

We clean up very nicely.
My travelling companions…when I manage to remember them.
The dwarf was from a local market and my daughter made the Origami heart

Thanks to Simon for this “back-of-head” shot…
And many thanks to Clik Elite for the product sponsorship
I never thought that I would fall in love with a piece of luggage.
But I did(and so did my wife when she took this to Cuba)
This has to be the BEST suitcase I have EVER owned.
I have been VERY lucky with airline flights this year.
From one end of the spectrum to the other.
Business class on Emirates and a flight on the new low cost carrier.
And one or two in between
I  was able to enjoy some new and existing acoustic musicians.
Andy’s Acoustic Forum at Marks Park is the place to get your fix.

It would be remiss of me NOT to mention our KZN road trip.
Caro and I met some WONDERFUL people.
We highly recommend  the properties we stayed at

My wife and I were able to enjoy a cruise in the Med,
thanks to Cruises International.(www.cruises.co.za)

With thanks to the rest of the team that made it memorable
Chris Mostert and his team put this together.
Terence Parkin took all the mountain footage
Seeing I was overseas so often this year, wildlife took a back seat.
I hope to rectify that in 2015
I went back to the camp where my wife and I had our honeymoon in 2007.
Hamilton’s has not changed at all.It has got better.
My favourite “home-away-from-home”.
My place of refuge and solitude when I have needed it.
Heia Safari Ranch in Muldersdrift, is still one of the best local destinations.
All of the sporting events that I covered in 2014 took place at Heia Safari Ranch.
I love our suburb.
