Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport is also known as SSR Airport
The business class lounge has been completely rebuilt since my last visit to Mauritius in 2013
Looking up…
The ceiling decor is as important as the seating area
Downstairs boasts a “living” wall…
Vertical planting rocks!
The downstairs seating/eating area.
Relaxed and comfortable
Another view before heading upstairs
I could have taken the stairs…
But all three of me decided to use the elevator…
I could have utilized the stairs seeing that I did not get in a run this morning.
We had to leave our hotel at 05h30 local time…03h30 SA…
An guess who I discovered…
My wife is NOT a morning person
A view of the “food court”…
Plenty of comfortable seating
An area for children to “relax” in before their flight
More seating…
and all with a view.
Light, bright and airy
Breakfast…
More carbs.
Believe it or not, this machine makes a GREAT cappuccino.
It seems to be the focal point of the lounge
Not at 06h00…or perhaps for those who don’t like flying?
I particularly liked this portion of the lounge.
My overall impression?
One of the BEST business class lounges I have been fortunate to visit.
We wait to board MK851 back to Johannesburg.
Will our seats be in front of,
or behind the curtain.
We will find out when we board.
