There are many of these grates in the buildings that I passed.
Perhaps they help control the damp?
“Back-in-the-day” I would have been arrested for sitting on a bench
that was clearly marked for another racial group.
Although Squirrels are not indigenous to Cape Town,
they have been here for so long that they are now seen as part of the fauna.
The statue to the squirrel sits on top of the glass case outside the museum.
Not even Rhodes wanted visitors from Gauteng.
His message…”You have seen the mountain, now go home”!
I like the colours that are used in the city centre
The new and the old?
The Hollow Hotel sits alongside an Art Deco apartment block
The wind was blowing up a storm,
but this Palm tree took the battering in its stride
Outside the Cathedral

Drivers don’t always allow pedestrians to exercise their right to cross the road

This is not one of those works
Sometimes, looking down is a good idea
More of “The Mountain”…
a different perspective
The pressure is on.
The moon over the Arena Theatre.
