I am usually up early in the morning,
but this was a bonus before I went for my run.
We are on the eastern side of Mauritius currently,
hence this vista from our patio
The view from the beach…
And from the ocean
Water becomes a “best friend”…
It can be very hot and hydration is important.
We had breakfast in the Indigo restaurant.
Cabbage at breakfast?
Pancakes I understand.
These were being eaten almost as fast as they were being made.
The sign says “Jelly”…
but I am not so sure
My breakfast…
Post breakfast it was off to Le Spa.
This is the relaxation area.
There is a small Jacuzzi next to this seating area…
There are three couples rooms
This is how a Spa should be built.
Out in the open.
The treatment rooms are “hidden” behind the foliage
Despite this sign, there was music being played.
I did not find it intrusive at all.
In fact, it added to my experience
A great neck and back massage…
Looking down, this is what I found rather than looking at the floor
This treatment room faces the ocean
I was offered a drink.
Not the red” juice” which in fact is for sterilizing the tongs!
After the massage, we took a pedalo out to see the resort from the ocean.
More pre-lunch exercise.
Our view from the “boat”…
A relaxing afternoon lies ahead.
I feel a nap coming on!
