With the mist hanging heavy over Lions Head,
we set off for Citrusdal and a specific road side plaasstal(farm stall).

Home on the one side of their parking lot.

And the farm shop on the other

Inside, they offer a variety of home-made and local goodies.

You can call them on 022 921 2792 to place an order.

My wife discovered some of the wild flowers that the area is well known for.

My daughter and I chose a burger for lunch.
The chips were very tasty, but the patty could have done with some spices

My wife decided to have a scone with home made cream and jam.

We all agreed that the ginger beer and the home baked bread were worth the trip

We stopped to have a look at the flowers on the roadside

A we even spotted a Protea!

Back in Sea Point for dinner.
This restaurant has been around since 1969…
They must be doing SOMETHING right.
A very special dinner to celebrate my daughter’s upcoming birthday.
