Goodbye to The Cape Milner Hotel, many thanks

The courtyard behind the conference centre.
It is also overlooked by some of the luxury rooms,
Mine included.
The pool deck was one of the areas that benefited from the recent refurbishment

This seating area is situated outside the Glass Lounge and just below the pool deck.
It is also close to the bar and dining room.
Very convenient

The Glass Lounge…
It can be found just behind the gym and up a short flight of stairs from the reception area

A well stocked bar,
with friendly service is a must.
And the Cape Milner offers both

The blinds in the bathroom can either be rolled up, as in this case,
or lowered. Depending on the level of privacy required

And REAL sash windows that open and close!

If you are celebrating an event,
tell management.
They did this for my daughter’s 30th birthday breakfast

It was only as I was checking out that I noticed this mirror.
There are a trio of them behind the reception desk.
Each with a different set of animals on it.

I forgot to ask if these goldfish had names.

After my stay, we headed off the peruse the antique shops in Kalk Bay
