In and around Hamiltons Tented Camp. A picture is worth 1000 words

This was definitely NOT taken at Hamiltons Tented Camp!
It has been a while since I indulged in a meal of this nature,
and it cost me a couple of hours in the gym on my return.
Was it worth it? HELL YEA…
“They” say that a picture is worth 1000 words.
If that is true, then I have just saved you having to read 19000…
So scroll through and just ENJOY.

This 2000 year-old Baobab is for my wife who has a special affinity for them.
This particular one id further south than normal, but a magnificent specimen.

One of the reasons I enjoy being in the bush…
Sunsets

Smoke from a controlled fire added a different dimension to this

A kist in the lounge at Hamiltons

Sunset through the smoke.

Those that partook said that the choices were excellent.

Could this be what Dante had in mind?

Waiting for the sun to set and the nocturnal wildlife to surface

One final one…from a different angle

I almost experienced a “tent invasion”…
The fast that my door was closed did not stop this young vervet monkey
from having a real up close look inside

And as the sun sets slowly in the west…

Ronnie, on the left, tells the jokes…
And Louis makes table decorations.
Like these…

Got to love the way the ostrich has a wing draped over the glass.

Morning Africa.

Feels like I was awaiting Col. Stevenson Hamilton’s arrival

Final two,
Why?
Because I can

Night Africa
