We spent most of the day wandering around this market…
On instructions from a friend of ours back in Johannesburg.
We did not have to walk far to find ruins…
The same friend suggested this restaurant for lunch…
a good choice.
The locals seem to like things military…
I discovered many shops selling camo as well as replica weapons.
Or I think they were replicas.
Although the market was busy, I did not find it as congested as
markets I have visited in Saigon and Istanbul
Even the street signs have graffiti.
I wanted to know who painted this and more importantly,
how they managed to do it!
We were instructed to buy cherries…
so we did.
A fellow passenger on the Metro ride back to the harbour.
One last cup of coffee in the shadow of the Lion of Pireaus,
and then we headed back to Celebrity Reflection
We always use Leon as he is always early and a pleasure to deal with.
