Voyager of the Seas arrives in Dunedin

1797

Sunrise as we are about to arrive in the city of Dunedin, South Island

This could be Norway…

The green hills reminded me of England…
or the KZN Midlands!

Gene and Justin discover what the city has to offer.

I discovered that Dunedin has a link to my home town of Port Elizabeth.
We have a similar statue there…

I assume that the war this plaque is referring to is the Anglo Boer War.

One of a flock of gulls that was using the ship as a delivery service.

NO RESPECT!

Many of the passengers visited this chocolate factory.
There is one in Port Elizabeth as well

And the band played on…
And while they bid us farewell…
The dock staff were already removing the signage.
Goodbye To Dunedin…
Thanks for an almost rain free visit.
