Why does the bridge look empty?
Because Captain Ryan is in the La Scala theatre,
taking part in a cake decorating exhibition

Cruise director, Luke, Captain Ryan and Chef Gary…

The first order of business was actually trying to get aprons and hats on!

Eventually they both got their “gear” on…
and gloves completed their outfits.

Black Forest cake under construction…
First the cream.
Large amounts…

Cherries…
about an orchard full.

Kirsch Wasser…
If you are like Luke, then it has to be a copious quantity

And then the piping…
Or not…

And finally the some Maraschino cherries for decoration…

The cake on the left is from the expert, Chef Gary.
But a great time was had by all…
Well done to Captain Ryan…
and Luke!
