This is the first glimpse of what guests can expect to find just a up the road.
This is the reception area which is situated in a stand alone building
close to the main entrance.
Attention to detail is everything…
Note that even the cord is formed into a perfect circle…
Something that guests appreciate.
No loud music or TV blaring in either the public or private areas.
If you do not feel like going back to the main dining room for lunch,
you can always choose something of the Spa menu.
All meals offer a “raw” option.

Our visit celebrated our belated 6th wedding anniversary.
When we got back to our Villa after dinner we discovered these…

as well as a hot bubble bath surrounded by candles.

If the weather plays along, then this is the place to sit and contemplate…
or have a meal…
or read a book…
or just enjoy the silence.

There have been no significant changes since our visit in 2010,
but “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”.
And nothing is broken at Karkloof Safari Spa
Even though our visit was in summer, it was a wet and cool evening,
and this fire was most welcoming
The seclusion of the deck at our Villa meant that we could chill in private.
And housekeeping did not bother us either.
This was our final meal before we left for the Maritzburg airport and our Airlink flight home

It was the first time we had eaten Nyala, and it was delicious.

All treatments are included in the price, and there are no treatment limits.
I tried a couple of facials and several Thai massages and well as a rejuvenating bath.
My wife, on the other hand, tried almost the entire Spa “menu”…
And loved every minute…especially the hand and foot massage that we enjoyed as a couple.
