Ichobezi Riverboat, Chobe River

2037

Our “home” for four days…
Ichobezi Safari Boat…

Ben and David scramble to make place for our tender boat.

Our accommodation…
Very comfortable beds and enough space for us and our luggage.
Bed decoration…

There is power all day, but no Internet connectivity.
Each cabin has a large picture window in order to enjoy the view in private,
should you wish to do so.

But the upper deck is a far more social way to share the experience.
Lounge, as seen from the bar.

looking back toward the bar and dining area…
both of which were well utilized…

The “entertainment” area…

This Lesser Striped Swallow was intent on trying to build a nest on board

Some of the Chobe River flora.

Sunset over the “swimming pool”…

Our evening mooring spot.

Our home from home…
My wife,Carolyn, sitting and reading

Sunrise over the Chobe River…

And this is where I watched it from,
with tea and biscuits.

Breakfast time…almost.
Aside from the staff, I was the first guest awake and watched as they set up for breakfast

Ready and waiting for the rest of the guests.
The boat only takes 8 guests.
We shared our experiences with an Australian couple who are currently teaching in Singapore
and a South African couple celebrating an 82nd birthday.
Thanks to all of you for making the trip such a memorable one.
Lots of laughter and stories shared!

The windows are where the cabins are situated.
Tim and Debbie( the Australian couple) set off with Harris on a “game drive”…

A Water Monitor watches as they pass…
