Federal Air…again!

2297

Back at Federal Air departure lounge…again.
Back to the Kruger National Park.

Usually there are a pair of Wagtails that use this water feature…
An Indian Minor seems to have taken over?
From the Federal Air departure lounge I get to take pictures of aircraft taking off from O.R.T.
It just so happens that my next flight is on this airline…
and that is only because Federal Air does not fly to Botswana!

These are NOT the passenger stairs.

Departing and returning aircraft have to wait
so that O.R.T Air Traffic control can open and close this gate.
Can’t the pilots be issued with their own remote controls?

This is the Beechcraft that we flew on…
The “branding” is my handy work.

Not our plane…but I have flown in this craft before.

Still some colour in the garden

Gentlemen, start your engines…

and that is exactly what they were busy doing.

Our flight was full, so the extra passengers were flown to Kruger in this plane

Reverse view from my seat…

Take off!

In flight snacks.
I hope that the co-pilot had the chicken

Animated conversation going on behind me.

Johannesburg from the air

Kruger Park boundary…

This was our first stop…

Over the Sabie River on our way to Skukuza…

Touchdown at Skukuza…
Another great flight .
Let my “bush adventure” begin.
