Day and night at Bush Camp at Sabi Sabi.

2044

SURPRISE!
A bush breakfast at the end of one of the morning game drives.

The dreaded “pink gun bag”
Presented to the ranger that gets stuck or commits some other transgression.
I was told that to receive this in winter means that the ranger concerned will have it for a while.
In summer it apparently changes hands regularly.

While parents are out on game drive/walk…
the youngsters are entertained her by trained staff

It looked like so much fun that I almost joined in…

There should be a wall for parents as well!

A Fever Tree…one of my favourites…
“Rain” supplied by a sprinkler…
Our “dining room”…

My final dinner was in the Boma

Well appointed tables and warm chairs…

The calm before the storm…
None of the guests had arrived…yet.

The lodge building by night…

It takes on a different feel.

The main deck and dining area

The waterhole as seen from the deck.

Back on my night time photo-safari…

The all important bar area…
With a warming fire.

The wall decorations add to the charm of this well known lodge.

Another view of the bar

One final sunrise…

Thanks for visiting…
Come back soon.
