Spotted…at Lion Sands

1842

As the sun rose over the Sabi Sands, we set out on our early morning drive…
We did have an idea of what we would like to see,
however, it is the animals that decide and NOT the Ranger

Driving down one of the main roads on our way to a lion sighting,
one of the guests, Michelle spotted this pair down a side road!

This was the cub’s first encounter with guests
and it was naturally skittish.

But, Rollercoaster, the mother was there to protect it.
Currently the rangers are uncertain of the sex of the cub

Follow me…

What is that green thing ahead?

I am not certain…
all I know is that it is tough on the outside,
but chewy and soft on the inside…

A closer inspection is required!

Wait for me…

Hang on…

I will relax in the shade while you investigate…

Catch up…

All together now.

WAIT! There are noisy “things” pointed at me…

Don’t worry…
Those are only cameras

Enough with the pictues already…

Let us head into the bush,
they cannot follow us in here.

Concerned…

Bye for now…
