Our Africa on Route road trip

914
I have self-driven and flown into the Madikwe Game Reserve.
This was the first time we had used a transfer company.
Being a passenger gave me the opportunity to take these pictures
Our first “wild life” encounter…I found this insect on the sign at the garage where we had a pit-stop

You can find Elephants close to Jhb and Pretoria at this venue

Poles…

The sign said “police”…

and I spotted thier vehicle(without number plates) at a cash for scrap yard…

The sign says it all…

“I have a house in Africa”!

One of the many road side food stalls

A cemetery…

Put another…on the barbecue?

could have been one of these…

Shacks…

right next to one of the largest platinum mines in Africa

This undertaker printing as well.

Some colour in an otherwise bleak landscape

We came across several of these herds.

Another one…

Making an ass of itself?

With thanks to our driver Wynand (of Africa on Route), we arrive at the entrance to Madikwe

We arrive safely at our destination…Jaci’s Safari LodgeFor more information on what the transfer company offers, visit:
