Jamala walk about…

536

I decided to forego a game drive and investigate what makes this lodge so special.
Join me on my “journey of discovery”

The attention to detail goes above and beyond the norm.

Sparkly “things” to reflect the evening candles

Items of interest and antiquity can be found in the most unlikely places

The detail on a box that I found on the deck

I think that this is an “air-freshener”, but I might be wrong

My wife doing what she enjoys, reading a cook book…

with jelly beans close at hand

Pre-afternoon custard tartlets!

Part of the water feature at the entrance

Lamps to accentuate the ambiance…

A corner of the “study”

Some of the exterior decoration…

The t-lights are battery operated but look just like the real thing

This was our “game drive” vehicle one morning, why?

Because it was raining.

Cucumber in the water jug instead of the usual lemon made a refreshing change.

The seating area overlooking the waterhole.

When last did you use a butter knife?

The final touch… key-rings and a photograph to remember Jamala by.
