Happy 21st Birthday Sparkling Waters…

732

We went in search of Utopia, and we found it…

At Sparkling Waters near Rustenburg

Our Executive room was light, airy and very modern.

Nothing much has changed as far as the grounds are concerned…

The ubiquitous “Games Room” is still where it has always been…

But the games have been updated and upgraded.

Seeing that copious quantities of food were going to be served, some exercise was called for…

defying gravity on the trampoline…

Mini-golf anyone?

How many of us grew up with one of these in our back yards?

The reception area…

Although both pools did look inviting, the weather was not playing along and a swim was unfortunately not on the cards.

Our first dinner had a Pirate theme, but the only this couple dressed up…

This light show had the children running around the lawn chasing the colours…

Great music and entertainment was supplied by DJ Tony of RockSolid Entertainment                                    ( rocksolid1@telkomsa.net)

The biggest change since my last visit in 2010 is the fact that the dining room has been completely renovated.

One of the attractions for me are the huge trees that can be found all over the property. They have offered shade to generations of visitors since the hotel opened as Crystal Waters in 1954.

Sparkling Waters offers guests the opportunity to stop and smell the flowers, literally…

A bonfire to keep the cold at bay…
