Once again I found myself back at this stunning lodge…
On my last visit there was only one elephant at their waterhole.
This time there was a herd of 23!

In silence they calmly made their water to the water…
Away from noisy people and greed, the bush is where my heart is at.
Beating with the sounds of the wild.
Vast open spaces, looking into forever.
Squinting into the baking African sun.(anon)
This youngster had not yet learned to control his trunk and ended up swishing it back and forth
a “helping trunk” to help the little ‘un along
The adults also had some fun…
And without any overt command, they all left…
