On my recent visit to see the ” Dialogue in the Dark” exhibition, I did take few moments to see what Sci-Bono was all about.
And what a surprise…
This T-Rex stood guard at one of the entrances and roared when visitors walked by…
This glass floor looked down on a class room and it was interesting to watch people,myself included, that were reticent to step onto it!
This mobile decorates the ceiling at the top of the stairs…
Situated within the walls of the old Turbine House the venue was abuzz with activity on the Saturday morning I visited. Aside from a variety of of interactive exhibits, there is also a coffee shop on the premises!
There is still a crane in the building as well as this full size jet!
Can you spot the small dinosaur peering over the balcony?
Some of the exhibits are locally made, although some have been made in other countries
Situated in down town Johannesburg, the center has plenty of secure parking and should be on everyone’s ‘must-see’ list…
Allow yourself plenty of time to spend at this highly recommended treasure!
