Before we left on the game drive our ranger asked us what we would like to see…
Perhaps a Spekboom?
Our perhaps some flowers? People flock to Namaqualand to see the daisies…might we be interested?
Our perhaps something dead?
But our tracker was not disheartened…he would prove to be the hero of the drive…
“I would like to see a Secretary bird” said one of the guests…and she got not one but two!
My wife asked for Cheetah…and she was rewarded with this pair of brothers
I had asked for Black Rhino…but settled for this Aardwolf, a species I have never seen in the wild before…
We ended the drive with this young Lion…a proud symbol of Africa…
